This charming 600-square-foot studio sits on a serene plot known as Mana Aina, translating to "the power of the earth" in Hawaiian, surrounded by the lush landscapes and invigorating air from the neighboring Hana and the national tropical forest adjacent to the famous Haleakala volcano.

Our studio is designed for comfort and cleanliness, featuring solid brick construction with painted stucco walls, tiled floors, and high-beamed ceilings that create a welcoming atmosphere. As you slide open the doors, you will be greeted by breathtaking views across our expansive 12-acre park filled with ornamental trees, vibrant tropical plants, and seasonal fruit-bearing trees.

The property embraces the nature surrounding it; on one side lies a sprawling 50-acre forest, while on the eastern edge, a seasonal stream cascades from Haleakala's rain forest down to the ocean, where the renowned Jaws surf spot awaits adrenaline seekers. The tranquility of East Kuiaha Road runs parallel to our property, making it a peaceful retreat.

Your stay may offer encounters with friendly wildlife, including geckos and various insects, as we promote ecological harmony on our grounds. If you're seeking a more manicured environment free of occasional wildlife visitors, consider the resorts located along Maui's South Shore.

Although our destination promises solitude, you are conveniently only a short 6-minute drive from delightful restaurants and grocery shopping. If you favor organic produce, visit Mana Foods in Paia, just 10 minutes away, or the Pauwela Cannery for casual dining options. Explore additional culinary delights at the Haiku Cannery, where you can indulge in sushi at Nuka or enjoy a burger at Colleen's Restaurant. Food, Water & Supplies: Please remember to bring your drinking water, especially if you prefer not to use the county tap water, which may have a chlorine taste (we do provide a water filter). We also suggest bringing any food items and supplies you may require during your stay, as we don't offer a replenishing service for complimentary supplies provided upon your arrival.

Fruit Picking Policy: Please refrain from picking fruits from our trees, as our property hosts over 600 guests annually who appreciate the untouched beauty.

About Our Building: The studio is one of three available for rent, located within a shared dwelling but separated by a generous hallway that fosters privacy. Each unit boasts its own entrance, and thick, insulated walls ensure a quiet experience away from the hustle and bustle.

Studio Amenities: Your cozy accommodation features a medium-soft memory foam king-sized bed alongside a full-size futon sofa bed. The private bathroom includes a bathtub, overhead shower, and essential toiletries for your convenience. All linens, towels, and kitchen essentials are provided, ensuring a comfortable vacation experience.

The dining area accommodates four, while the fully equipped kitchen offers everything from a full-sized oven to essential cookware. You’ll even have access to laundry facilities from 9 am to 7 pm to keep your garments fresh.

For connectivity, we provide SpaceX Starlink internet service boasting impressive download speeds, along with a smart TV linked to Wi-Fi for entertainment during your downtime.
